VISA APPLICATION SUPPORT
For most international students planning to pursue full-time studies in the UK for over six months, applying for a student visa is a necessity. The visa application process operates on a points-based system, where 70 points are essential for visa approval.
- 50 points are awarded for obtaining a Confirmation of Acceptance of Studies (CAS) from the University.
- 10 points are assigned for presenting a bank statement, referred to as maintenance.
- Another 10 points are granted based on English language proficiency, for instance, achieving an IELTS score of 5.5 or providing proof of English Proficiency.
Required Documentation How Much Funding Is Necessary? Students must demonstrate financial resources that meet specified requirements. They need to show that they’ve maintained the required amount of funds in their bank account for a continuous 28-day period.
What Is a Credibility Interview? Credibility interviews were implemented to ensure that only ‘genuine students’ are granted visas to study in the UK. As part of the visa application process, students may be invited to participate in a credibility interview
